Gastroenterology is a medical term indicating the branch deals with digestive systems and disorders related to it. The digestive system includes the gastrointestinal tract made up of the large intestine, small intestine, stomach and esophagus. It has other essential digestive organs like liver, gallbladder and pancreas.
