Immunology is the branch of medicine covering diagnosis and treatments of the immune system in humans. It is also found in sapient species, plants and animals. But, there is a huge difference between comparative immunology and human immunology.

Immunologist is also called an allergist! They are doctors specialized in diagnosing, treating and managing allergies, asthma and immunologic disorders like primary immunodeficiency disorders.

  • Bowel cancer screening- This test looks for hemoglobin in stool which is a strong indicator of bowel cancer. It can help in diagnosing other conditions like polyps and hemorrhoids.
